Mobile Phlebotomist
(Early Morning Draws - Geriatric Patients)

 

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Phlebotomist to join our team and provide early morning draws at nursing homes for our geriatric patients. This is a full-time/part-time position, offering a morning and an evening shift, and requires a candidate who has a minimum of 2 years of experience in working with geriatric patients. The candidate must have a reliable vehicle to obtain the draws. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Conducting phlebotomy procedures on geriatric patients in nursing homes during early morning hours

• Preparing and labeling collected specimens for transport to laboratory

• Properly documenting all procedures and ensuring accurate records

• Maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for procedures

• Adhering to safety and infection control protocols

 

Requirements:

 

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomy with geriatric patients

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Flexibility to work early morning hours
