Administrative Assistant

(Laboratory Office)

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our laboratory office team. The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Answering and directing phone calls and emails to appropriate personnel

  • Scheduling appointments and meetings for laboratory staff

  • Maintaining and updating laboratory records and databases

  • Coordinating laboratory orders, shipments, and deliveries

  • Providing administrative support to laboratory management as needed

  • Ensuring compliance with laboratory policies and procedures

Requirements:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Professional demeanor and customer-oriented approach

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working in a laboratory or healthcare environment

  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures
